Robert E. McArthur  I.C.A.D.C. (Bob) created R.E.M. Addiction Counselling and Consulting at the encouragement of community professionals who are well aware at the lack of accessable addiction resources in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and the surrounding area. These people are doctors, nurses, social workers and addiction counsellors who needed a alternative place to refer clients that did not meet their facilities or treatment centers requirements for service.

Bob's unique and passionate approach has gained him the respect of both addicts and professionals alike. This has occurred through a combination of his education, his experience and his unwavering hopefulness for the future of all recovering addicts and the ones who love them.
